Embellish: verb (t) 1. to beautify by or as by ornamentation; ornament; adorn. 2. to enhance (a statement or narrative) with fictitious additions; embroider. [Middle English, from Old French] - Embellisher, noun; - embellishment, noun.

Sometimes when you are cooking you add a little salt or pepper to improve the flavour.
