PC Craft - Lessons Calendar

Our lessons/classes are simply graded, however not all projects require a computer for the end result.

Basic - If you have the ability of turning on the computer and a general understanding of craft, you should be basically equipped to create these projects.

In-between - These workshops require basic craft knowledge and an understanding of your software program. These projects may involve gluing, sewing, colour dying or painting and silk ribbon embroidery.

Challenging - These workshops are faster paced and some may require some form of kits supplied by us. A sound knowledge of your computer and software program is necessary. These workshops may involve intensive embroidery, cutting, sewing, dyeing and the ability to embellish your final project.

The name and the grading of the workshop will give you an idea of the type of class. Our courses will vary, by the materials that will be supplied by us, items that we request for you to bring, or costs for kits. As an example PRINTING PHOTOS ON FABRIC, we will supply materials and you will bring in a photo (a basic class) or EMBELLISHING A LAMPSHADE which will be in kit form that you will be required to purchase (an In-between workshop).

SCANNING PHOTOS AND PRINTING ON FABRIC

Bring in one photo, and we will teach you how to print this photo onto fabric. The final print can be framed, embellished or used in any project as desired. Basic.

PRINTING VICTORIAN IMAGES ON FABRIC

We will show you a selection of Victorian images that you can pick, including computer generated frames or backgrounds to print on fabric. The end project will be Victorian image size approximately 10cm x 10cm on fabric. This print can be used for one of our other classes to embroider or embellish. Basic.

PAINT SHOP PRO BASICS

Paint Shop Pro is a crafter’s dream. This class is an introduction to the various areas of the software and what the program has to offer.

INTRODUCTORY LACE DYE

We will teach you the process of 2 colour dyeing, 2 colour shading including colour intensifying. 3 colour dyeing, shading and antiquing. Basic.

LACE DYE II

We will show you the method of Flash dyeing, multicoloured for a unique effect. Also we will dye silk & polyester ribbon and one ribbon rose in two shades. In-between.

EMBELLISHMENT I

For that wonderful look of hand-dyed tassel for lampshades or tassel dolls, this class is inspirational for creative colouring. Includes how to dye bread dough, assorted flowers and other embellishments. In-between.

CONTINUOUS CREATIONS

Not all projects can be finished in one lesson! This is an ongoing class incorporating embroidery, embellishment and final finishes to complete your creation. Basic to challenging.
